Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Weaver). They blew past the Wellborn Panthers 16-7 on Thursday. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
 Reyleigh Partner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered seven  runs (all of which were unearned)  on four hits. Those  hits were  her first of the season.
 At the plate,  Ashlyn Coleman was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Maddie Stanford was another key player,  scoring four  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Coleman wasn't the only one working in the  hit department: Weaver  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least nine  hits in four consecutive  games.
The  win  got Weaver back to even at 6-6. As for Wellborn, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 6-12.
 Coming up, Weaver will welcome Ranburne  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Wellborn, they will challenge Jacksonville at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
