Merritt Island Christian really took it to Burns Sci-Tech for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-20 win at home. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Merritt Island Christian had established a 32 point advantage.
Trey Nevad was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Connor Angstadt, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Merritt Island Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Burns Sci-Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
