Moore won against Deer Creek on Friday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Lions never let the Putnam City Pirates get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 contests by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Moore and bumps their season record up to 24-10. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Putnam City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-36.

Moore has already played their next matchup, a 7-3 loss against Edmond North on the 7th. Putnam City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
