The Bucktail Bucks lost against the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Bucktail ended up on the wrong side of a rough 68-45 walloping at the hands of Neumann Regional Academy. Bucktail was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-22.
Neumann Regional Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jozef Savage led the charge by scoring 20 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyrick Moy, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Bucktail's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bucktail will challenge Montgomery at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Neumann Regional Academy, they will head out on the road to take on South Williamsport at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neumann Regional Academy is facing South Williamsport at the right time seeing as South Williamsport is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
