Page can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 61-28 win over College Prep & Leadership Academy at home. With Page ahead 39-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Page found their leader in underclassman Lola Vanore, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Vanore scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Hattie Sloyan, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Northwest Guilford has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Page, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
