This season hasn't been kind to the Granite Prospectors, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were outmatched by Lincoln on the road and fell 71-10. Granite was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.
Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teegan Riddle, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and eight steals. Riddle hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Andrew Brown was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight steals.
Granite bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lincoln, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Granite will head out on the road to challenge Victor at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
