Central Woodstock got themselves on the board against Madison County on Friday, but Madison County never followed suit. They blew past the Mountaineers 16-0. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Central Woodstock's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Madison County, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Woodstock will head out to challenge Clarke County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Madison County, they will challenge Luray at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.43 runs per game on average), something the Mountaineers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
