The Emery Spartans can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Canyon View 63-38. The score was close at the half, but Emery pulled away in the second half with 35 points.
It was another big night for Wade Stilson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Creek Sharp, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Emery is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Canyon View, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emery's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Dinos at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Carbon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Canyon View, they will head out on the road to face off against the Rabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
