They strolled past Molalla with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-43. Given Tillamook's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Molalla is ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tillamook got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Vivian Vogel out in front who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Vogel scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Adrian Vogel, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Tillamook's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Molalla, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Tillamook will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Astoria at 7:00 p.m. As for Molalla, they will head out on the road to face off against Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
