It was a good run, but the University School of Jackson Bruins unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Trinity Christian Academy by a score of 50-47. University School of Jackson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Trinity Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Monday.
Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sam Keyl, who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Wallace Driver, who scored 13 points.
Trinity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Waller led the charge by scoring 16 points. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Williams, who scored 16 points.
University School of Jackson's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-5. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.
University School of Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Trinity Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
