Oliver Ames and Sharon are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. Oliver Ames will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Two weeks ago, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Oliver Ames beat Martha's Vineyard Regional 20-14. The victory was just what Oliver Ames needed coming off of a 35-7 loss in their prior game.
Sharon fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They were the clear victor by a 35-14 margin over Attleboro.
Liam Conway looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of David Bondar, who picked up 59 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Nauset Regional's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Oliver Ames' loss dropped theirs to 0-8.
Oliver Ames was able to grind out a solid win over Sharon in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, winning 28-20. Does Oliver Ames have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sharon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
