First Baptist Christian Academy had a rough outing against Lakeside Christian last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. First Baptist Christian Academy snuck past City of Life Christian Academy with a 26-20 win.
First Baptist Christian Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 18 points in the first half. City of Life Christian Academy came up with 14 to make it 18-14 heading into the break. The other side of the ball was dominant for First Baptist Christian Academy in the second half, holding City of Life Christian Academy to a measly 6 points. The win got First Baptist Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. The loss started City of Life Christian Academy out at 0-1 for the season.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. First Baptist Christian Academy will look to defend their home turf next week against Seacoast Christian Academy at 6:00 PM. First Baptist Christian Academy continues their travels as they hit the road for the second straight game. City of Life Christian Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Master's Academy at 7:00 PM.
