The Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Culver Academies Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Guerin Catholic struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Saturday (the Millers were 25% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Guerin Catholic was beaten by the Millers 71-41. While losing is never fun, Guerin Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Millers are ranked fifth).
Dylan Murans put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Sorensen, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-30, which was the final score in Culver Academies' tilt against the Indians on Tuesday.
Guerin Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Culver Academies, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
