Liam Hurley gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Tuesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. St. Joseph is undefeated when Hurley posts eight or more strikeouts, but 6-7 otherwise.

Hurley's effort led St. Joseph over Wildwood Catholic and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats are a perfect 6-0 against the Crusaders going back to April of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
