Prestonwood Christian won against Bishop Lynch last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Trent Vilade made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Vilade was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Landon Murphy tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
Back at the plate, Aiden Moffitt was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Cruz Banuelas also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
