Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wishkah Valley). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Mary M. Knight Owls 27-26. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 12-9 victory last Tuesday.

Wishkah Valley's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Mary M. Knight, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wishkah Valley will take on North Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mary M. Knight, they will host Evergreen Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
