Another player making a difference was  Gabby Oborne, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
 Russell's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Otsego, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Russell is on the road again  on Thursday to play Wilson at 9:00  a.m. As for Otsego, they will be playing at home against Maumee at 4:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
