The Colquitt Christian Academy Cavaliers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They took down St. Teresa's Catholic 50-35. That looming 50-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Colquitt Christian Academy yet this season.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dyland Rangel, who scored 13 points. Ricardo Resendez was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Colquitt Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for St. Teresa's Catholic, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
Colquitt Christian Academy on the road again on Thursday and play against First Academy at 12:00 p.m. on January 25th. First Academy is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. St. Teresa's Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Community Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Community Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully St. Teresa's Catholic likes a good challenge.
