Putnam County extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 10-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Woodland Warriors. Considering the Panthers have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Woodland, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 4, 2023, but that streak is no more.

For Woodland's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Libby, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Putnam County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against Eureka on the 19th. As for Woodland, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 defeat against Seneca on the 21st.
