Judge Memorial Catholic is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Ridgeline on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs came up short against the Riverhawks, falling 56-32. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-9.

Despite the defeat, Judge Memorial Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Munah Doe posted 16 points and six boards. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Doe. Maddie Daw was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Jordan). They blew past East 69-17 on Tuesday. With that win, the Jaguars brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
West Jordan's win came from a few key players Judge Memorial Catholic will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Francine McIntyre, who went 6-for-7 en route to 13 points and seven steals. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 48.3% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Naveah Crosby, who shot 88% from the field on her way to 14 points and three steals.
West Jordan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.
The victory got West Jordan back to even at 2-2. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Judge Memorial Catholic has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 26.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like West Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
