Basketball Recap: Farmington Extends Winning Streak to Three

Farmington had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-48 W against the Cibola Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Scorpions: when they faced off against the Cougars last Wednesday, they had to take a 73-62 defeat.

Farmington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michael Beck, who posted 11 points along with seven boards and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Sataurus Griego, who had 13 points and five rebounds.

Farmington's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Cibola, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10.

Farmington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-75 defeat against Cleveland on the 27th. Cibola does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
