Chase Rivera Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Peotone's Chase Rivera, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Rivera rushed for 300 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 117.1 rushing yards per game.
The win snapped Peotone's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. Rivera and Peotone will head out on the road to square off against Lisle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
