The Hoehne Farmers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 46-28 bruising from Crowley County. Hoehne has struggled against Crowley County recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Hoehne still got an impressive performance from Levon Bachicha, who rushed for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Keegan Halloran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crowley County, rushing for 354 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 22.1 yards per carry. Halloran's longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthoni Walter, who picked up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Hoehne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Crowley County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.
Hoehne will head out on the road to face off against Custer County at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Custer County is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Crowley County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walsenburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Walsenburg is ranked 28th, while Crowley County is ranked 31st).
