The Eduprize Open Eagles had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points), and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They managed a 93-88 win over Colorado Prep. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eduprize Open to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aj Thomas, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Thomas has scored at least 25% of Eduprize Open's points. Another player making a difference was Nate Parras, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Eduprize Open's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Colorado Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Eduprize Open is on the road again on Saturday and play against Varsity Opponent at 8:15 p.m. on December 30, 2023. The timing isn't great for Varsity Opponent: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Eduprize Open has snatched up nine consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season. Colorado Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
