The biggest upset of the week belonged to Northwestern Lehigh, who defeated 41st ranked Catasauqua, 28-27.
Saucon Valley's Nick Savant rumbled for the longest rushing play in Colonial this season in his game against Palisades last week. Savant ran for 94 yards on the play and finished with 333 on the day as his team beat the Pirates.
Savant was a passing and rushing force as Saucon Valley defeated Palisades. Savant's key target this week was Mike Kane, who caught 2 passes for 45 yards.
Savant was a beast in the backfield as Matt Evancho's team topped Kevin Ronalds' team.
Nick Oyer was the best wideout in the league this week as Pen Argyl topped Bangor. Oyer tallied 2 receptions for 61 yards. Salamone Josh helped Pen Argyl's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
The Green Knights' Ryan Hunt and Oyer led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Hunt has thrown for 990 yards this season, while Oyer has 23 catches for 650 yards. The Panthers' Savant leads the league in rushing yards with 1,611.
The Rough Riders are in second place, while Pen Argyl is in fourth place.
Adding to the longest winning streak in Colonial this week, Southern Lehigh beat Salisbury Township 56-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Spartans.
