The Toronto Red Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Edison 51-46. Toronto has not had much luck with Edison recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Toronto still got an impressive performance from Ashton Thomas, who scored 23 points along with nine rebounds and six steals. The matchup was Thomas' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Anderson, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Toronto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Edison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Toronto will be home for the holidays to greet Buckeye Local at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison will be home for the holidays to greet Newcomerstown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Newcomerstown is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
