Lake View has gone a perfect 3-0 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lake View Chiefs will look to defend their home pitch against the Liberty Patriots at 5:30 p.m. Lake View will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Lake View's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Estacado with a sharp 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Estacado from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jose Enriquez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Liberty's offense. They fell just short of Estacado by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Matadors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Lake View's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Lake View took their win against Liberty in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 4-0. Will Lake View repeat their success, or does Liberty have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
