The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be defending their home field for the first time this season  when they go up against the Red Bank Lions  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Red Bank took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Notre Dame, who comes in off a win.

 Kaylee Pendergrass was a major factor no matter where she played. She  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Pendergrass was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Scarlett Hughes and  Dalana Brown did most of the damage at the plate:  Hughes  went 3-for-4 with four  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple, while  Brown  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Cameron Price-Richards, who  went 4-for-5 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Red Bank had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost  10-0 to Ooltewah on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Owls recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Notre Dame couldn't quite finish off Red Bank in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024 and fell  13-11. Can Notre Dame avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
