West Clermont's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaden Brock-Sanderfer, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Strause, who scored 8 points along with 10 rebounds and 3 blocks.
West Clermont's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Turpin, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
West Clermont will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. As for Turpin, they will head out on the road to face off against Walnut Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
