Even though The Tiftarea Academy Panthers scored an imposing 48 points on Friday, the Brookwood Warriors still came out on top. Brookwood skirted past Tiftarea Academy 50-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brookwood also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Brookwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TJ Thomas, who rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also picked up 133 receiving yards. Rodge Waldrop was another key player, having thrown for 361 yards and four touchdowns.
Brookwood's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Tiftarea Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 1-6-1.
Brookwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tiftarea Academy is also done with their season.
