Kendyl Feutz put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
In other batting news, Chelsea Helton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Meanwhile, Shakamak didn't have quite enough to beat Cloverdale on Friday and fell 8-7.

Kennett has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Matt Hill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Jamison Ewers was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Shakamak has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Bloomington North, their record now sits at 4-6.
Shakamak's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bloomington North hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. It's a different story for Shakamak, though, as they've only averaged .248. Will they be able to contain Bloomington North's hitters?
