The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Central Pointe Christian Academy came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Palm Bay is ranked 155th).
Aaron Mcgee was on fire for Palm Bay: he scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mcgee has scored at least 25% of Palm Bay's points. The team also got some help courtesy of O'Ryan Woolestan, who scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Central Pointe Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Palm Bay, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-2.
