The Wilton Warriors lost against the Ridgefield Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Wilton fell to the Tigers 52-46. Wilton has struggled against the Tigers recently, as their game on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Henry Roy and Ryan Luchetta certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Roy scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Luchetta scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Anderson Campbell, who scored six points.
Wilton's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Ridgefield, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilton will take on the Hilltoppers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeport Central is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Ridgefield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ludlowe will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Tigers are ranked fifth).
