Walhalla had won three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 14-2 to make it four. They breezed past the Pendleton Bulldogs to the tune of 73-30. The Razorbacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season.
Walhalla got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Miley White out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten boards. What's more, White also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2025. Kami Roach was another key player, going 6-for-15 on her way to 14 points in addition to eight steals and five assists.
Walhalla was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pendleton only posted eight.
As for Pendleton, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Walhalla is ranked 22nd).
Alexis Mattress and Blakely Branyon certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Mattress dropped a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Branyon posted ten points and six boards. Mattress is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played. C J Baker also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.
Coming up, Walhalla will challenge Landrum at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Pendleton, they will venture away from home to take on West-Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
