The Milton-Union Bulldogs stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 63-38 margin over Bethel. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-15.
Jenna Brumbaugh was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon Brumbaugh, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Milton-Union has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Bethel, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milton-Union will square off against the Polar Bears at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Bethel, they will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing is sure in Miami East's favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home while the Bees have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
