Abby Dennard had a dynamite game, getting 35 kills, 13 digs, three aces, and one block. Those 35 kills gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Graycen Cawthon, who had 11 digs, seven kills, and two aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Morgan County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Savannah Arts Academy only served eight.
Despite the defeat, Savannah Arts Academy had strong showings from Bella Jaqua, who had eight digs and three aces, and Maddie Storck, who had six digs.
Morgan County's record is now 32-12. As for Savannah Arts Academy, they moved to 18-29 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.
