Baltimore City Division I recap November 13, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mergenthaler Vo-Tech, who defeated 115th ranked Edmondson-Westside, 12-6.
Patterson added to the longest winning streak in Baltimore City Division I this week by beating Maritime Academy, 51-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Clippers.
City College's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Davon Collins chipped in 82 yards.
Collins provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Black Knights bested Poly.
Troy Robinson put up the best numbers in passing as City College bested the Engineers. He finished with a total of 3 completions for 9 yards and 1 touchdown.
City College's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Black Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Robinson has thrown for 773 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Julius Harvey has 15 catches for 351 yards.
The Mustangs made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,401 from 7,757. The improvement was largely due to a 12-6 victory over the Red Storm last week.
