Lake Stevens was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Kentlake. The Vikings came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 31 last week.
Lake Stevens extended the longest winning streak in 4A Wesco - North this week by beating the Falcons, 67-33. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
6-foot-2 quarterback Bennett Gibson of Mount Vernon is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1981. He has also thrown 12 touchdowns. On the ground, the Vikings' Austin Otis has rushed for 746 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Conner Coleman. The Lake Stevens star has 46 catches for 1100 yards.
The Bulldogs moved up to 146 from 178 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Mount Vernon was able to make move up by topping Kamiak 26-20.
