Make it five blowout wins for the Bristol Panthers this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Chalker 46-7 at home. The win was just what Bristol needed coming off of a 65-32 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bristol to victory, but perhaps none more so than Briauna Klingensmith, who scored 11 points along with six steals. Klingensmith has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Lauren Church was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
The win got Bristol back to even at 7-7. As for Chalker, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bristol will take on Liberty at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chalker, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Harding at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Harding is ranked 753rd, while Chalker is ranked 771st).
