The Family Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Humble Christian 47-14. Family Christian has not had much luck with Humble Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Kelly Paulk, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds for Humble Christian. Paulk is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Bledsoe, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Family Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Humble Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Family Christian will be playing at home against Brazosport Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Humble Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against School of the Woods at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
