The Harrison Hornets's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 41-33 win over Chippewa Hills.
Despite the loss, Chippewa Hills saw an underclassman step up: Kiara White dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season.
Even though they lost, Chippewa Hills smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Harrison's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Chippewa Hills, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Harrison will head out on the road to take on Meridian on Friday. Harrison will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 595th, while Meridian is ranked 37th). As for Chippewa Hills, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-23 defeat vs. Grant on the 9th.
