The Watts Engineers entered their tilt with the Welch Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Watts enjoyed a cozy 59-44 victory over Welch on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Watts has won by exactly 15 points.
Despite the loss, Welch still got an impressive performance from Deighton Bellew, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. Colin Damann was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Watts' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Welch, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watts will take on Fairland at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matches. As for Welch, they will head out on the road to face off against Bluejacket at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
