Despite the loss, Welch still got an impressive performance from Deighton Bellew, who scored 17 points along with 4 steals. Colin Damann was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Watts' win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Welch, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watts will take on Fairland at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three matches.
