After a string of four wins, Birmingham's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Chatsworth Chancellors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chancellors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Birmingham's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Chatsworth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season.

Birmingham will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Granada Hills Charter at 3:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Chatsworth, they will take on Santa Monica in a tournament on the 18th.
