On Friday, Rappahannock put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Mathews 48-8. That result was just more of the same for Rappahannock, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win bumped Rappahannock's record up to 4-2. Mathews are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Rappahannock take on Colonial Beach at 7:00 AM. These teams both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games. Mathews will be staying on the road, facing off against King & Queen Central.
