Lincoln Prep hit Pima with a four-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Roughriders fell just short of the Lightning by a score of 5-4. The Roughriders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Colter Kempton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Tanner Smith was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
