They claimed a resounding 74-36 victory over Frederick on the road. 74 seems to be a good number for Legend as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Legend's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Stanley, who scored 11 points along with 9 assists and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Gavi, who scored 16 points along with 5 steals.
Meanwhile, Lutheran had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Platte Valley 57-26 on the road.
Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Berkley Schneider, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schneider has scored at least 25% of Lutheran's points. Another player making a difference was Mikaela-zoe Colon, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds.
Their wins bumped Legend to 8-0 and Frederick to 4-1.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Legend have been dynamite from deep this season, having only drained 36.8% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Lutheran struggles in that department as they've only made 31.8% of theirs this season.
