Mason typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday DeWitt proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Bulldogs 7-1. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

DeWitt's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Mason, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.

Looking ahead, DeWitt will head out to take on Coldwater at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mason, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Cadillac at 11:00 a.m.
