Meanwhile, Oak Ridge Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 73-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carolina Basketball Academy.

Greater Cabarrus S pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Oak Ridge Military Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
