Brayden Wood put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.

Wood's strong effort led Florida State University High School over Taylor County and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
