GLENDALE, Ariz. - A 60-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter didn't slow down
Greenway (Phoenix, Ariz.) as it put nine more points on the scoreboard to secure its victory over Independence (Glendale, Ariz.) 50-7.
After taking the lead on a
Tai Tanai touchdown run in the first quarter, the Demons were up 35-0 at the half.
Greenway expanded its lead to 60 points entering the fourth quarter. GHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown.

Kade Greenhalgh touchdown pass to
Josh Marquez, a punt return touchdown, a touchdown pass by Greenhalgh to Marquez and a Greenhalgh touchdown run in the quarter.
Independence's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard run by Favon Irelan in the third quarter.
Greenway entered the contest giving up 29.7 points per game this year.
GHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 39-10.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Phoenix school, which was coming off a 56-21 defeat at the hands of Sunrise Mountain in its previous game.
